PSC entered two teams in this year's FMPLLEN Cook Off. The theme was Zero Waste. Students had to use all parts of the hero ingredients, celery, baby carrots and brushed potatoes and create two identical dishes for the judges to taste. read more....PSC entered two teams in this year's FMPLLEN Cook Off. The theme was Zero Waste. Students had to use all parts of the hero ingredients, celery, baby carrots and brushed potatoes and create two identical dishes for the judges to taste.
Along with 18 other teams from across the Mornington Peninsula, Alex and Will, Tawhiri and Jacob traversed the unfamiliar commercial kitchens at the Trade Training Centre, Chisholm, Frankston and set out to create their dishes (with only 2 practice sessions at school).
The judges highly commended both teams' dishes and along with one other school, received equal 3rd place!
A fantastic result, but equally fantastic was their participation and interaction with other students and teachers, judges, and event organisers. And for Bianca and Genevieve, a great opportunity to share information about our school and learn about what is happening at other schools. A great experience!
